WELCOME

The New Connecticut Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution serves as the only chapter in Lake and Geauga County, Ohio. We are committed to promoting the core values of patriotism, education and historic preservation. On July 4, 2023 we dedicated an America 250 Revolutionary War Marker in downtown Painesville, Oh. This was the first marker to honor the 86 Patriots buried in Lake County. We have sponsored Wreaths Across America for ten years at two of our local cemeteries. We donate to various groups who help Veterans in our area and began a scholarship to a Veteran attending our local community college. We are actively involved with America 250 at the county, state and national level.

New Connecticut is happy to welcome new and associate members. If you are interested in joining our chapter, please contact us via this site. You’d be welcome to attend a meeting learn more about the DAR. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
